Ellen Kelly
mixed-media jewelry

Ellen Kelly has studied and taken art classes for over 30 years, but considers her jewelry work mostly self-taught, through experimentation with wax, clay, metal, resin, and fabric. Ellen renders each finding by hand carving a master. It is then cast in a metal alloy, and cloaked in gold, copper, or sterling silver. The pieces are oxidized and polished, then individually embellished with resin, grout, crystals, beads, and other elements.

The earwires are 14K gold filled or solid sterling silver.
