About the artist:
Ed and Kate each started working with clay at the age of fifteen, taking ceramic classes at the Indianapolis Art Center. They realized then that it was something they would always do. After receiving Fine Arts degrees from Ball State University, they opened their first studio in southwest Florida in 2000. In 2006, they moved to the mountains of North Carolina near Ashville. All of their work is made in their 200 square foot studio next to their home.
