Mary-Melinda Wellsandt's sand-etched glass vases are like no other. After etching away the design, she then hand paints the colors using enamels and other media, rendering her original drawings and paintings in a very unique way. Her pieces are meant to be used as floral vessels but are striking by themselves.

About the artist:
Mary-Melinda has been making "pretty things" since she was about 3 years old, painting the gravel from her driveway with watercolors and peddling it around to the neighbors. In the years that have passed her work has become refined and sophisticated, but she has retained her 3-year-old sense of joy and delight in her creations. Mary-Melinda’s current work uses functional glass as a surface to explore.
Hand-crafted in the U.S.A.
